Procedure Ordering, registration certificate and delivery
Step 1. Place order
You place an order and pay for it with iDeal or Vooruit/IBAN/BIC. You can also come by to view the scooter first before you pay. This way you can see the different models and which scooter suits you best.
Step 2. How do I get a registration certificate in my name?
Once you have purchased a scooter via our site, and we have received the order amount, we will immediately request a new blank license plate from the RDW, yellow or blue, depending on the speed you choose. These costs will not be charged to you. We will send you this license plate by registered mail. With these papers and your valid (moped) driving license, you go to the post office. There, the license plate will be put in your name (approx. 9 euros).
Step 3. When can I take my scooter on the road?
If you have purchased the scooter in the webshop, you will receive a confirmation email from StrayShop. StrayShop will then make your scooter ready to drive. After receiving it, you must have the registration certificate put in your name at the post office, you make a copy of this new registration number.
Once the registration certificate is registered in your name, please email StrayShop (service@strayshop.com) stating your order number and confirming that the registration certificate is registered in your name.
StrayShop delivers the scooter ready to drive to you, the delivery person will ask for the copy of the registration certificate. The delivery time is approx. 5 to 10 working days. With a valid insurance and (moped) driver's license you can immediately hit the road.
Please note! As long as the license plate is not in your name, StrayShop cannot deliver your new scooter.
